Lambert's twenty-two resolutions should be required reading! What a hoot! And I agree with you that our ancestors followed most of these! I still am! LOL!
If you run across any of the mountain folk making a prediction for 2008 weather based upon the ruling days, please let me know. That was my first attempt at such.
